この度、阿目虎南が芸術監督を務めるA5yl/燦然光芒が閉館する運びとなります。2022年のオープン以来、阿目虎南ソロ「Glowing Ember」シリーズの上演を開催してきました。拠点はずっと東京ですが、コロナ禍で戸田の共同スタジオを引き払い、地元である浦和に流れ着いて2年。
これからもここで実験的な企画を継続していくつもりでしたが、根を下ろす性格でもないので、拠点というものをリリースして身軽な状態に戻ろうと思います。名残惜しいですが、いつも失うことで得てきました。そんなときに吹く風は、決まって清々しい心地がします。
最後となりますが、毎回お越し頂いた方にも、最初で最後の方にも、是非お越し願いたいです。
We are pleased to announce that A5yl/Sanzen Kobo, where Conan Amok is the artistic director, will be closing. Since opening in 2022, we have held performances of Conan Amok’s solo “Glowing Ember” series. I have always been based in Tokyo, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, we moved out of Toda’s joint studio and moved to Conan’s hometown of Urawa, where it has been two years since we left.
I had intended to continue doing experimental projects here, but since I don’t have the personality to put down roots, I think I’ll release the base and return to a lighter state. It’s a shame to be left behind, but I’ve always gained by losing. The wind that blows at such times always feels refreshing.
Last but not least, I would like to ask all of you who have visited us every time, as well as those who have visited us for the first time and last time, to come and visit us.

「無駄な時間の記録」は、2021年に開始した、スコアを元にダンスを立ち上げるプロジェクトです。
このプロジェクトでは、スコアによってダンスを正確に記述・保存することより、それを用いることでダンスを一旦作者の身体から引き離し、それを巡ってフラットで開かれたコミュニケーションを立ち上げ、新たな表現の形を生み出していく可能性に着目しています。

2021年は、４名のダンサー／振付家が、スコアを組み込んだ形でソロ作品を制作・上演しました。2022年は、21年に作ったスコアをメンバー間で交換し、上演者の新たな解釈・振付で公演をおこないました。
2023年の今回は、過去２回の上演を見ていない他の表現者が、スコアから新たな振付・上演を行います。記述と読解を経ることで、元のダンスから何が消え・現れるのか、新たにどのような「無駄な時間」が立ち上がるのか、ぜひご注目ください。

Returned from Paris🇫🇷 and Cluj🇷🇴 For about a month, traveling, solo performances and workshops continued, and were ideal days to think only about dance. Especially l appreciate Yumiko Yoshioka, Butoh Lab Camp 2023, who invited me this time. Thank you to other wonderful teachers and enthusiastic participants. And thanks to the strong support of the theater staff and the local persons (I won’t mention their names, but thank you so much!), the tour ended safely. In Paris l danced at Espace Culturel Bertin Poirée and Cité Internationale des Arts, and in Cluj danced at Tranzit House and Cabana La lonel. Thank you for all the applause. Memorable Paris and first Cluj. Both are very lovely places. This trip has been very meaningful both professionally and personally. Then, I participated in a fulfilling 10-day Butoh Lab Camp as a teacher. I made new discoveries in the WS by other teachers with different methods. We tried to share technology with a lot of contents with motivated participants. I am very happy that dancers from the Conan class got together and were able to present my short choreography. Thank you Yumiko san and everyone for your hard work. Since l was able to summarize the feedback in Istanbul, we will be able to improve the quality of the next WS in Europe.
Now, I will join the Dairakudakan Hakuba butoh camp and continue my activities in Tokyo.
I look forward to returning to Europe next year.

燦然CAMP「G感覚」6/21(水)〜25（日）全工程無事終演致しました。
今回は関連WSと公演を組み合わせてのプログラムを通し、事前に観客の皆さんが自らの体を通して舞踏に触れる機会を設けました。公演は初日満席、他の回も直前のご予約や当日券でのご購入が増え、毎回多くの方にご覧いただくことができたことは嬉しい限りです。
出演者・スタッフならびにご来場頂いたすべての方に、厚く御礼申し上げます。
燦然CAMP発足以後、ハイペースで濃密なクリエイションを続けて来られました。これは大駱駝艦の谷口舞さんをはじめ、サポート頂いている皆さんのお陰です。感謝の気持ちを込めて、これからも精進する次第でございます。

2021年より、精力的に独自の活動を繰り広げてきた燦然CAMP。稀代の舞踏家・阿目虎南の演出からなる今回の新作は、ヴァイオリンの美しい旋律で知られる「G線上のアリア」そして舞踏の根源的テーマ「Gravity(重力)」から着想を得た。ダンサーと演奏者の肉体を同じ地平に突き立て、細かな演出・振付を施した異分野混合の舞台芸術作品。地下深く響く打撃音と弦の音。男は意識の彼岸に佇み、旋律を奏でる。浮かび上がる都会の喧騒。傍に埋まった首は暗い根を引き摺って浮遊し、虚空を彷徨う。音色は重力を帯び、磁場としての鯨を喚び覚ました…。ジャンルを越境する身振り・音色・景色が渾然一体の重力となって押し寄せ、意味の向こう側に気高く屹立する。楽曲は網田破裂音、鳴神硬雪による完全オリジナル書き下ろし。尚、21日には会場で本作の内容にちなんだプレW.Sを実施。肉体を通し、”G感覚”への接続を試みる。

Since 2021, Sanzen CAMP has been energetically engaged in unique activities. This new work, directed by the Conan Amok who is as known as Butoh prince of new generation, was inspired by the beautiful melody of the violin known as “Air on the G String” and the fundamental theme of Butoh, “Gravity”. A performing art work that blends different fields with detailed production and choreography, with the bodies of dancers and performers thrusting into the same plane.
The sound of blows and strings echoing deep underground. A man stands on the other side of consciousness and plays a melody. The hustle and bustle of the city that emerges. The head buried beside it drags dark roots and floats, wandering in the void. The tone was tinged with gravity and awakened a whale as a magnetic field…
Gestures, tones, and landscapes that transcend the boundaries of genres all combine to form a force of gravity, surging beyond meaning. The music is completely original written by Hurleyzone Amida and Kohsetsu Narukami. In addition, on the 21st, a pre-WS related to the contents of this work will be held at the venue. Attempts to connect to the “G sense” through the body.

燦然CAMP舞踏公演「舞踏山月記」全工程無事終了致しました。ご来場頂き、誠にありがとうございました。スタッフの皆さん、東京バビロンさん、お疲れ様でした。多大なるご助力を誠にありがとうございました。
今回、感染対策として終演後のご挨拶ができず残念でしたが、アンケートにご記入頂いたご観想をひとつひとつ嬉しく拝読しています。
当公演は、これまで開催された阿目虎南ならびに燦然CAMPの作品のなかで、最高傑作となりました。
これは今回、スタッフの皆さんに恵まれ阿目自身も演出・出演に責任をもってフォーカスできたこと、そして出演者である谷口舞さん(大駱駝艦)と作品のコンセプトはじめ細かい部分の美意識を共有できたことで、彼女のソロや全体について別の視点から提案を頂いたり、彼女のことを信頼して任せられたことが要因として大きかったです。また、アフタートークでは多摩美術大学名誉教授の近藤秀實先生にご登壇頂き、深く鋭い洞察のもと興味深いお話を展開され、終演後に短いながら良い時間を共有できたのも嬉しく。そして、何よりコロナ感染者を一人も検出することなく、疑わしい症状の方を内外において一人も確認していない事実に胸を撫で下ろしています。
体がガタガタでまだ動けないんですが、制作の小林とともに年末恒例怒涛の事務タームに突入します。そして今年最後の燦然CAMP主催事業、A5yl/燦然光芒での阿目虎南ソロシリーズ「Glowing Ember」12月分が残っているので、もう1ラウンドお付き合い願います。日程は少しお待ちを。思えば月イチで開催してきた、このソロシリーズ上演によって鍛えられました。このことも「舞踏山月記」のクオリティに大いに貢献したと感じています。
芸術監督としては、A5yl/燦然光芒で密かに実験的試みを繰り返していましたが今後「Glowing Ember」以外にも公開イベントをブッキング画策中です。
それでは、引き続き感染対策を確りと今年を乗り切りましょう。

it was a pity that we could not say hello after the performance as a measure against infection, but we are happy to read each and every one of your thoughts on the questionnaire.
This show is the best work of Conan Amok and Sanzen CAMP that has been held so far.
This time, thanks to all the staff, Conan himself was able to take responsibility for directing and performing, and he was able to share the aesthetics of the work, including the concept of the work, with Mai Taniguchi (Dairakudakan). As a result, it was able to receive proposals from different perspectives regarding her solo work and the overall work, and he was able to trust her and leave it to her, which was a big factor. In addition, in the after-performance talk, Professor Emeritus Hidemi Kondo of Tama Art University took the podium and presented an interesting story based on his deep and sharp insight. Above all, I am deeply moved by the fact that not a single person infected with the corona virus has been detected, and no one inside or audiences has been confirmed to have suspicious symptoms.
Our bodies are still stiff that we can’t move yet, but we’re going into the year-end rushing office term with Kobayashi, the producer. And the final project sponsored by Sanzen CAMP this year, A5yl/Sanzen Kobo’ Conan Amok solo series “Glowing Ember”, has left December, so please join us for one more round. Please wait for the schedule. Come to think of it, he was trained by this solo series performance that has been held once a month. we feel that this also contributed greatly to the quality of “Butoh Sangetsuki”.
As an artistic director, Conan’s been secretly experimenting with A5yl/Sanzen Kobo, but we’re planning to book public events other than “Glowing Ember” in the future.
