この度、阿目虎南が芸術監督を務めるA5yl/燦然光芒が閉館する運びとなります。2022年のオープン以来、阿目虎南ソロ「Glowing Ember」シリーズの上演を開催してきました。拠点はずっと東京ですが、コロナ禍で戸田の共同スタジオを引き払い、地元である浦和に流れ着いて2年。
これからもここで実験的な企画を継続していくつもりでしたが、根を下ろす性格でもないので、拠点というものをリリースして身軽な状態に戻ろうと思います。名残惜しいですが、いつも失うことで得てきました。そんなときに吹く風は、決まって清々しい心地がします。
最後となりますが、毎回お越し頂いた方にも、最初で最後の方にも、是非お越し願いたいです。
We are pleased to announce that A5yl/Sanzen Kobo, where Conan Amok is the artistic director, will be closing. Since opening in 2022, we have held performances of Conan Amok’s solo “Glowing Ember” series. I have always been based in Tokyo, but due to the coronavirus pandemic, we moved out of Toda’s joint studio and moved to Conan’s hometown of Urawa, where it has been two years since we left.
I had intended to continue doing experimental projects here, but since I don’t have the personality to put down roots, I think I’ll release the base and return to a lighter state. It’s a shame to be left behind, but I’ve always gained by losing. The wind that blows at such times always feels refreshing.
Last but not least, I would like to ask all of you who have visited us every time, as well as those who have visited us for the first time and last time, to come and visit us.
